The TD 2030 never fails to surprise: the elaborate sandwich construction produces unrivalled sound quality. But that's not all: seen from above or from the side, the 1 1/4" thick acrylic chassis has a warm blue gleam, yet from the front it is clear and transparent.
A new 1 1/2" thick alloy turntable platter weighing over 14 lbs rotates in its proven silent-run bearing.
The already favorable properties of the acrylic are considerably enhanced by the sandwich construction of the chassis.
It gives the 34 lb TD 2030 unparalleled stability and a sound completely free of resonance.
