Elac D 793 SH Boron Stylus Replacement Needle

The Elac D 793 E Replacement Needle replaces the following original Elac-needles: D 791, D 792 E, DN 792 E, D 793, DN 793, DN 793 E, DN 793 E, D 794 E, DN 794 E, D 795 E.

What is a Boron Cantilever:

Boron belongs to the rare-earth elements and is an ideally suited material for the manufacture of needle carriers. With a particularly low density, high stiffness is achieved. The speed of sound propagation exceeds that of aluminium by about 2.6 times! With the SAS diamond tip, the Boron cantilever reaches a peak of technical performance and should be better than the original.

The diamond of the SAS needles consists of single-crystal natural diamond, which is laser-cut using the latest manufacturing technology. The cut of the diamond is reminiscent of the cutting sickle used to make records. Highest fidelity combined with extremely low distortion are the result.

The needle fits for the following Elac catridges: Elac ESG 791, ESG 792 E, ESG 793 E, ESG 794 E, ESG 795 E, ESG 796 H, ESG 870 HA, and ESG 896.

These catridges are mainly installed in the following turntables: Elac PC 900, PC 910, PC 9210, 2000, Revox B 291, and B 791.
