Ortofon 2M Bronze Verso

The Ortofon 2M Bronze Verso is a modern MM cartridge that is universally installed with medium and heavy arms. it can easily be mounted on a cell holder with bottom fixing, supplied with interchangeable threaded pins (2 and 2.5 mm). it is installed on old turntables Thorens. this cartridge is designed for accurate and accurate retrieval of information in the train paths.

The Ortofon 2M Bronze Verso Cartridge is the intermediate cartridge between Blue and Black.

The 2M series is designed for precise and accurate retrieval of information in the grooves.

The philosophy of Ortofon is to render as accurate as possible the sound recorded on the disc, without coloring or deforming the sound.

The new 2M series is the culmination of a long quest to obtain a mobile magnet cartridge with very high performance, both in terms of the response curve and the level of musicality. The name 2M comes from the MM of Mobile Magnet. The design was entrusted to Copenhagen's Møller Jensen Design, the same designer who designed the Kontrapunkt series.

The 2M Bronze uses a naked Fine Line diamond. 2M technology is based on a split magnet magnetic motor to reduce eddy currents. This makes it possible to obtain an extremely flat response curve. The quality of this magnetic assembly gives it a remarkable sensitivity of 5mV.
