National Technics EPS 30 ES Boron Stylus

The replacement National Technics EPS-30 ES Boron Stylus from Jico has a Boron Cantilever (needle carrier) and is equipped with a SAS diamond.

What is a Boron Cantilever:

Boron belongs to the rare-earth elements and is an ideally suited material for the production of needle carriers. With a particularly low density, a high stiffness is achieved. The speed of sound propagation exceeds that of aluminium by about 2.6 times! With the SAS diamond tip, the boron cantilever reaches a peak of technical performance and should be better than the original.

The diamond of the SAS needles consists of single-crystal natural diamond, which is laser-cut using the latest manufacturing technology. The cut of the diamond is reminiscent of the cutting sickle used to make records. Highest fidelity combined with extremely low distortion are the result.
