What is a Boron Cantilever:
Boron belongs to the rare-earth elements and is an ideally suited material for the manufacture of needle carriers. With a particularly low density, a high stiffness is achieved. The speed of sound propagation exceeds that of aluminium by about 2.6 times! With the SAS diamond tip, the boron cantilever reaches a peak of technical performance and should be better than the original.
