AudioTechnica's patented dual magnet design principle is based on vinyl record reproduction.

Instead of a single large magnet, two V-shaped magnets are precisely aligned to accurately scan the right and left channels of the sides of the stereo groove. In this way, a VM system provides exceptional channel separation, extended frequency response, and superior sampling capacity.

Para Toroid coils improve the efficiency of the generator and provide outstanding linearity, since only a small part of the magnetic flux can escape due to the continuous symmetrical design of the magnetic circuit (parasitic flux), in addition, the permeability of the magnetic cores is optimized by the stratified core structure.
