The Audio Technica AT-OC9XSH moving coil cartridge has a boron needle carrier with a Shibata diamond.

The Shibata cut was developed in the 70's for analogue quadrophony, which today is a MUST in many high-end pickups. A neodymium magnet and a Permendur yoke provide a dratically increased magnetic energy.

With bare Shibata stylus and boron cantilever with high low frequency response and high transient response.
Threaded inserts in the body allow the cartridge to be attached to the headshell or integrated tonearm with just two screws - no nuts are required
The aluminium body minimises unwanted vibrations for reduced resonance and excellent audio reproduction
PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) is used for the coils to achieve pure signal transmission
