The AudioTechnica VM 520 EB is a cartridge equipped with a robust elliptical tip, which reduces distortion and allows a more accurate sound reproduction.
You can choose with (Pre-mounted AudioTechnica HS 10 cartridge holder) or without a cartridge holder.

AudioTechnica's patented dual magnet design principle is based on vinyl record reproduction.
Instead of a single large magnet, two V-shaped magnets are precisely aligned to accurately scan the right and left channels of the sides of the stereo groove. In this way, a VM system provides exceptional channel separation, extended frequency response, and superior sampling capacity.
System with para-toroidal generator
Para Toroid coils improve the efficiency of the generator and provide outstanding linearity, since only a small part of the magnetic flux can escape due to the continuous symmetrical design of the magnetic circuit (parasitic flux), in addition, the permeability of the magnetic cores is optimized by the stratified core structure.
Medium shielding plate for reduced crosstalk
The central permalloy shielding plate allows efficient separation of the left and right channels and eliminates electrical crosstalk up to 40 dB. This corresponds approximately to the actual crosstalk values of a recording groove.
