The Audio Technica AT33 SA MC cartridge has many outstanding features: Shibata cut, mounted on conical boron needle carrier with double damping, shape and coil winding reduction have a weight-reducing effect resulting in increased sound reproduction.

• The neodymium magnet shows a maximum energy product of BHmax 50 (kJ/m3). The Permendur spring yoke offers high saturation density and excellent magnetic properties. Both elements provide additional amplification of the magnetic field between the coils.
• The PCOOC (Pure Cooper by Ohno Continuous Casting Process) coil enables undistorted transmission as the signal flow is not hindered by crystal barriers.
  Dual Moving-Coil is based on an original MC type with separate cylindrical coils for the left and right channels. Since the energy is generated independently in both channels, a wide frequency range and excellent channel separation are the result. The design ensures a clear and smooth stereo sound.
• A VC enclosure surrounding the coils is made of synthetic resin with potassium titanate, resulting in maximum strength and inflexibility;
• reduced weight and vibration reduction are welcome attributes.
• The cabinet is made of a cast aluminium compound; plastic resin pressed into both sides of this structure suppresses unwanted resonances, reduces unnecessary noise and increases strength.
