National Technics EPS 202 ED Boron Stylus

The National Technics EPS-202 ED Boron Stylus replacement needle from Jico has a Boron cantilever as the needle carrier and is equipped with an exquisite SAS diamond.

What is a Boron Cantilever:

Boron belongs to the rare-earth elements and is an ideally suited material for the manufacture of needle carriers. With a particularly low density, high stiffness is achieved. The speed of sound propagation exceeds that of aluminium by about 2.6 times! With the SAS diamond tip, the Boron cantilever reaches a peak of technical performance and should be better than the original.

The diamond of the SAS needles consists of single-crystal natural diamond, which is laser-cut using the latest manufacturing technology. The cut of the diamond is reminiscent of the cutting sickle used to make records. Highest fidelity combined with extremely low distortion are the result.
