The Pro-Ject Xtension 10 Evolution high-end turntable with Pro-Ject 10cc Evolution tonearm is bundled analogue experience from Austria.

The Pro-Ject Xtension 10 Evolution turntable embodies luxury and uncomplicated handling in one, simply for listening. Equipped with a 10-inch Pro-Ject 10cc Evolution carbon-fibre tonearm and a few other audiophile extras. Adapted to the standard width of an audio rack, its chassis is made of metal granulate-filled MDF material. The high mass clearly associated with this serves to reduce natural resonances. The massive, 22 kg drive unit rests on adjustable feet with magnetic bearings for effective footprint decoupling.

The massive, resonance-optimised turntable, also with magnetic bearings, is made of cast aluminium. The magnet-supported bearing slides on ceramic and is therefore absolutely resonance- and rumble-free. In addition, the turntable is TPE-damped and equipped with a recycled vinyl platter as a support plate for your vinyl treasures.

The Pro-Ject Xtension 10 Evolution turntable is delivered from the factory with the 10-inch carbon-fibre Pro-Ject 10cc Evolution tonearm. This selected top-of-the-line tonearm features a very balanced and melodic sound - simply high-end.

An additional feature is the integrated motor control (sine wave generator). The speed selection works electronically, including a fine adjustment (pitch control). In addition to the classic 33/45 rpm, the speed of 78 rpm can also be set manually.

With an Ortofon 2M line cartridge and an Ortofon Stylus 2M 78 exchange cartridge, the turntable is ready to play shellac records.
 
Optionally, the Pro-Ject Xtension 10 Evolution comes with a Pro-Ject Connect it 5P-CC (unbalanced cable) or a Connect it 5P-XLR-CC (balanced cable) in the length of 123cm.
 
The balanced connection type offers superior vinyl playback with balanced sources. A note to YOU: To take advantage of the superior quality of balanced signal transmission, both devices to be connected must have balanced connections. Balanced signal processing significantly reduces the effects of external interference.
