Transrotor Dark Star Reference

The Transrotor Dark Star Reference turntable leaves its lucid design behind and shows itself with a double chassis made of high-performance POM material.

In contrast to Jochen Räke's usual design, the Transrotor Dark Star Reference turntable presents itself in a silky dark design and is made of the material polyoxymethylene - POM for short. This robust, technical plastic has first-class damping properties and is often used in industry for selected precision components. In addition to the solid bearing block, an external, high-quality two-phase synchronous motor ensures extremely good synchronisation. The platter of the Transrotor Dark Star Reference is also made of POM and is completely free of material stresses.

The design of the Transrotor Dark Star Reference turntable as well as its technical and, above all, sonic characteristics are unique. As a listener, you will experience a round coherent tonality with enormous subtlety and liveliness. In the Reference edition, it comes with a supplementary decoupling system that filters unwanted resonances even more thoroughly and calms the turntable. A high-end mass-produced turntable with first-class comfort and sound characteristics at a fair price.

The Transrotor Dark Star Reference turntable is supplied as a basic model with POM platter weight, without tonearm and without cartridge. Further completing equipment components are available in our configurator as an assortment.
